At Telidoo a.s. (Mlynska 70, 602 00 Brno, Czech republic), we take the privacy and security of our user’s personal information very seriously. In this document, we describe how we collect, use your personal data and protect your privacy.
1. What information is collected
Personal information is information that can be used to identify or contact a single person, like your name, address, email address, phone number, and other non-public information that is associated with this personal information.
Your personal data is stored for as long as it is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and required for us to fulfil our contractual obligations and pursue our legitimate interests.
Categories of personal data we may collect and process:
- Registration and account information
Your phone number, email, name, country, language, currency.
- Device and usage information
Your IP address, device manufacturer and model, device parameters, your mobile carrier, app usage information (the features you use and how frequently).
We use this data to improve our services tailored to your needs.
This information may be collected using Google’s Firebase (refer to policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites)
- Phone numbers of Contacts
We periodically upload phone numbers from your device's contact list. Using this, we show you whether your contacts are using the app and to decide how to route your calls to them. We don't gather names or other information about your contacts and will never use them for marketing purposes or share them with 3rd parties.
- Chat messages and SMS
If cloud backups are enabled, we periodically upload backups of your messages on our servers. The backups are stored in an encrypted state and will not be used for any purposes by Telidoo or 3rd parties.
- Call Detail Records
For calls made through the Telidoo service we keep information about the calling and receiving party and the length of the call for billing and statistics analysis.
- Payments processing
Telidoo doesn’t store bank card data, this information is handled by our payments provider (refer to www.globalpaymentsinc.com/en-cz/privacy-statement)
For payment by bank transfer, we keep your bank account number and other transaction information to pair the payments
- Customer support
We keep records of your interaction with customer support for future reference.
2. Security of the information
We process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and regulations. To protect your personal data from unauthorized disclosure or access, misuse, loss, alteration or destruction we have implemented appropriate legal, technical and organizational security measures. All the communication between your device and our servers is encrypted via SSL. The data we collect from you is stored on servers exclusively within the European Union.
3. Sharing information
We work with carefully selected third party providers to operate and provide our services. For example, we work with companies to distribute our apps, provide infrastructure, process payments, marketing and customer support. We may share personal data with these service providers.
In addition, we may also share your personal data in the following situations: upon request we may provide authorities (for example the police and the tax authority) with personal data if we have a legal obligation to do so; in order to enforce or apply our Terms of Service and/or any other agreement with you; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or others.
We will never sell your personal data to a third party unless you give use explicit permission to do so.
4. Communications and notifications
Telidoo may use your personal data to communicate with you, via in app channels, phone, SMS or email. The communication may include messages about account updates, payments, faults and other information of technical nature. Such communication is considered part of the service.
We may from time to time contact you by email, phone or SMS to keep you up to date with news about Telidoo and the services, including new products, campaigns, promotions and payment methods. You may opt out by following the instructions in such promotional message, or by contacting our support.
5. Your rights to access, rectification and erasure
Under applicable data protection legislation you have the following rights in relation to personal data.
- Right to access – You have the right to obtain information from Telidoo about any personal data being processed about you and access to such data, if any.
- Right to rectification – You have the right to obtain the rectification of inaccurate personal data about yourself.
- Right to erasure ("the right to be forgotten") – You have the right to obtain the erasure of data about you if the data is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected for. There might be legal obligations for Telidoo to keep the data anyway, that stops Telidoo from immediately erasing the data. In that case we can block the data we are required to keep, from being used for other purposes than the fulfilment of the legal requirements or anonymize the data.
6. Changes to this document
We may make some changes to this Policy from time to time without notice. The changes will be published at www.telidoo.com/privacy, effective when published. You agree to review the Policy periodically so that you are aware of any modifications. If you continue to use the Product and the Service after the date of amendment publication, it shall constitute that you accept the updated Policy. If you do not agree with the amended Policy, you may terminate your relationship with Telidoo. If there are any material changes to this Policy, we will notify you by email or as otherwise required by applicable law. Telidoo will also post any adjustments to the Policy on this web page, and the revised version will be effective immediately when it is posted (or upon notice as applicable).
